Jumping From An Airplane Holding Hands

I had a talk with a best friend of mine today that really held a mirror in front of my face.
She brought me down to a grounded state after the past few weeks I have spent floating in a state of confusion, loneliness, darkness, and uncertainty- all internal and mostly self-inflicted, of course.
I cried for a little afterwards thinking about how we, all of us, are so deeply connected and yet struggle against nature to differentiate ourselves from everyone else in existence. I truly believe people were not meant to be so differentiated.
She and I are equally lost. We are all equally lost.
We need to acknowledge and embrace the commonalities among us and use them to bring us closer together so we don't feel so confused. So lonely. So dark. So uncertain.
